Application:
Monk's pepper is also known as chasteberry. This spicy seasoning can be used in teas and in the kitchen to season food. Its spicy properties are particularly evident when freshly ground. As an infusion: coarsely grind the monk's pepper in a mortar. For one cup, pour boiling water over one or two teaspoons. Allow to steep for at least ten minutes.
